About the Client & The Role:
Pinpoint Asia is partnering with a top-tier, globally recognized financial services firm to find a highly skilled Business Analyst for their Private Wealth Management (PWM) Asia division.
Our client provides best-in-class, personalized banking and investment solutions to Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients across the region. They are looking for a specialized Business Analyst who deeply understands wealth management operations—specifically client servicing, asset transfers, and billing—but also brings a strong technical toolkit in Data Analytics and Machine Learning.

Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Product Owners, Technology, Operations, and Legal teams to define business needs and establish project scope for strategic wealth management platforms.
- Perform deep-dive business analysis, prepare user stories, determine workflows, and recommend process enhancements or system upgrades.
- Drive the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) phase, including the writing and management of UAT test scripts.
- Evaluate post-implementation performance and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve production issues.
- Map out project timelines, monitor deliverables, and ensure tech solutions are delivered on time and within scope.
- Act as the central communicator between technical and non-technical teams, chairing working groups and preparing status updates.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and gracefully reconcile conflicts regarding resources or requirements.
What We Are Looking For:
- Education: University degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related discipline.
- Domain Experience: 3–5 years of practical Business Analysis experience, ideally within Private Banking or Retail Banking. Strong familiarity with Client Servicing, Asset Transfers, Billing processes, and Client Reporting is highly preferred.
- Technical Edge: Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, and Machine Learning. Familiarity with advanced AI/data concepts (NLP, Transformer models, LSTM, K-Means, Random Forest) is a massive advantage.
- Methodology: Proven experience in Agile development practices. Knowledge of Design Thinking or User-Centered Design is a strong plus.
- Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, hard-working, and deadline-driven. Must be able to speak to technical details while keeping the "big picture" business solution in mind.
- Language: Excellent command of written and spoken English. Good command of Chinese (including Putonghua) is a distinct advantage.
