Newton Dock & Doors Ltd at Unit #101, 19045 54 Avenue, Surrey BC is looking to hire a Supervisor-Door Installers for a full-time and permanent position.
Job duties
• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of commercial door installers and related workers.
• Review project drawings, blueprints, and specifications and assign installation tasks to team members.
• Ensure the accurate measurement and marking of guidelines for door and frame installations.
• Oversee the installation, repair, and servicing of commercial doors, ensuring they are level, secure, and functioning according to specifications and safety standards.
• Monitor the use of hand and power tools to ensure safe and efficient cutting, fitting, and installation of door components.
• Inspect completed installations to ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and building codes.
• Coordinate on-site modifications to doors or surrounding structures to achieve proper alignment, seamless fit, and smooth operation.
• Train and mentor installers on installation techniques, equipment operation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Maintain work progress records and report project updates to management.
• Ensure adherence to workplace safety regulations and company policies at all installation sites.
• Coordinate with contractors, project managers, and clients regarding installation schedules and project requirements.
• Order and monitor the use of materials, equipment, and supplies required for door installation projects.
Experience – Minimum experience of 2 years or more as Door installer is required.
Education- completion of high school is required.
Wage Rate: $ ___ per hour

Work will be at various locations of the lower mainland.
