About The Client: We are partnering with a top-tier, multi-billion-dollar global quantitative and systematic investment manager. The Role: They are looking for an exceptional Infrastructure Implementation Manager to join their global IT Infrastructure team. This team is responsible for the stability, extreme performance, and optimization of a world-class, latency-sensitive trading environment.
You will own the end-to-end delivery of highly complex, parallel infrastructure projects, primarily focused on expanding their footprint across global trading venues. You will act as the driving force between internal engineering teams (Compute, Network, DC Ops), external partners, vendors, and financial exchanges.
What You Will Do:
- Orchestrate and manage the full lifecycle delivery of new trading infrastructure at colocation and proximity hosting venues globally.
- Partner heavily with Network Engineering to gather requirements and coordinate with telco vendors, brokers, and exchanges to establish ultra-low-latency market connectivity.
- Drive infrastructure provisioning and deployment across regional data centers, ensuring absolute performance, scalability, and zero downtime.
- Manage the allocation and scaling of compute resources across the firm's diverse colocation footprint.
- Provide robust stakeholder management, keeping technical and business leaders updated on timelines, blockers, and milestones using Atlassian JIRA.
What We Are Looking For:
- 5+ years of demonstrable experience delivering IT infrastructure implementations specifically within the electronic trading / algorithmic trading domain.
- Deep functional knowledge of trading colocation (co-lo) environments and data center operations.
- A strong, foundational understanding of ultra-low-latency trading infrastructure, specifically across Linux environments and High-Performance Networking.
- Proven expertise in exchange connectivity, including a strong understanding of market data feeds and order entry systems.
- Stellar project management fundamentals, capable of driving technical teams and vendors to strict deadlines.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and communication skills, with a track record of thriving in fast-paced, elite financial technology environments.
