We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer to join the front-office technology team at a leading investment bank. You will work on critical trading and market-facing applications, building high-performance solutions that directly support business operations. This role requires a strong technical skill set, an understanding of financial markets, and the ability to deliver production-quality software in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain front-office applications with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Implement and maintain front-end interfaces (Angular preferred; open to other modern frameworks/languages).
- Develop and maintain back-end services in Java.
- Collaborate closely with traders, quants, and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Continuously optimize applications for speed and efficiency in a production trading environment.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer, ideally in financial services or trading environments.
- Strong proficiency in Java for back-end development.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, web services, and database integration.
- Familiarity with agile development practices and version control (Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
Preferred:
- Experience with low-latency or high-frequency trading systems.
- Knowledge of financial products, derivatives, or market data systems.
- Exposure to cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, or DevOps practices.
