About the Client:

The Role & Technical Landscape: As the Strategic Portfolio Lead, you will drive end-to-end project lifecycles, delivering operational excellence across mission-critical trading and data platforms. You will balance technical execution with continuous improvement, ensuring all projects are delivered efficiently, transparently, and in full compliance with organizational governance standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Strategic Planning: Define and align the core objectives, purpose and constraints of the change program. Develop and maintain clear roadmaps, detailed task lists, and project schedules using industry-standard tools like Microsoft Project or Jira to ensure milestones are met.
- Governance & Compliance: Establish and enforce a robust governance structure by clarifying decision-making authority and escalation paths. Maintain strict alignment with organizational policies and deliver transparent, data-driven progress reports.
- Risk & Execution: Execute the project plan with full awareness of workstream priorities and interdependencies. Proactively identify, track, and escalate risks and issues (RAID) to enable timely resolution and protect program delivery.
- Vendor & Financial Management: Manage complex project budgets, define and track financial health, and measure ROI throughout the program lifecycle. Lead the RFP process, evaluate bids, and monitor vendor performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure adherence to deadlines and budget terms in the contract.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact, bridging communication among stakeholders. Resolve disputes and coordinate between teams to ensure seamless integration of deliverables.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience leading high-value, multi-million-dollar initiatives with proven results.
- Expertise in vendor management and contract negotiation.
- Strong knowledge of project governance frameworks and performance reporting.
- Proficient in Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies.
- PMP, PfMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is highly preferred.
- Outstanding communication and conflict-resolution skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders and keep deliverables on track.
- Proficient with Jira, Microsoft Project & MS Office.
