Our client, a leading securities trading firm, is looking for a visionary leader who can bridge the gap between complex business requirements and high-performance technical execution, ensuring all projects align with our global architectural standards for their finance IT team. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of strategic technology initiatives.
Core Responsibilities
- Strategic Client Engagement: Build deep partnerships with business leaders to gain visibility into upcoming plans and proactively translate them into technical roadmaps.
- Global Integration: Collaborate with International Headquarters to understand enterprise-level system designs and execute critical cross-border integration programs.
- Innovation & Optimization: Drive continuous improvement in systems, data management, and financial processes, ensuring all solutions are cost-effective and deliver clear ROI.
- End-to-End Delivery: Manage the full SDLC of Finance IT projects, from initial scoping and vendor selection to production implementation and live monitoring.
- Standards & Architecture: Ensure all in-house and vendor-led developments adhere to global firm-wide practices and move the organization toward a unified target-state architecture.
- Executive Communication: Provide concise, high-quality project transparency and status reporting to C-suite stakeholders and department heads.
Experience & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
- Seniority: Minimum of 15 years of IT experience within Financial Institutions, with at least 10 years dedicated to Finance IT and team management.
- Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of Investment Banking Finance, including legal/management accounting, group consolidation, multi-GAAP reporting, and securities product accounting.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade Finance systems (ERP and EPM) and business intelligence (BI) reporting tools.
- Delivery Mastery: Proven track record of managing global, multi-disciplinary teams and tracking complex project plans across multiple time zones.
- Language: Mandatory professional fluency in both Mandarin and English (written and spoken).
