Our client, a leading securities trading firm, is looking for a high-impact Technical Business Analyst to deliver end-to-end complex systems for Equity Derivatives and Prime Brokerage business lines. You will serve as the critical interface between front-office trading desks, risk management, and the engineering teams, translating sophisticated business needs into scalable technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Engineering: Lead deep-dive sessions with stakeholders to extract and analyze complex requirements for OTC and Prime business flows.
- Technical Translation: Transform business needs into detailed functional specifications, working side-by-side with developers to ensure the technical architecture meets the commercial objective.
- Full Lifecycle Ownership: Manage the project journey from initial scoping through to SIT, coordinated UAT, and final production deployment.
- Change Management: Act as the lead communicator for system and process changes, ensuring all impacted users across the enterprise are aligned and prepared.
- Strategic Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify project and operational risks, proposing both immediate tactical fixes and long-term strategic enhancements.
- Quality Assurance: Define robust testing strategies to ensure the integrity of new features and multi-asset enhancements.
Required Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 8–15 years of business analysis experience, working with an Investment Bank or Brokerage.
- Product Knowledge: Solid understanding of Derivative products (Options, Swaps, etc.) and the Prime Brokerage ecosystem.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for data analysis is highly preferred; familiarity with enterprise trading platforms and vendor systems is an advantage.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin).
- Mindset: Extreme attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple high-priority streams independently.
