About the Client:

The Role, Responsibilities, and Landscape:
As the AI Portfolio Manager, you will be the definitive authority on the delivery and governance of multiple, high-impact AI initiatives. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Strategic Portfolio Orchestration: Developing master plans for the AI portfolio, mapping out complex critical paths, and resolving high-level cross-initiative dependencies across data, security, and architecture domains.
- Executive Delivery Governance: Establishing robust delivery cadences, facilitating executive steering committees, and ensuring strict scope, schedule, and resource management across the enterprise.
- Commercial & Risk Leadership: Owning enterprise RAID logs, directing mitigations, controlling the AI portfolio budget (including vendor spend and licensing), and ensuring absolute compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
- C-Suite Stakeholder Alignment: Acting as the primary liaison for the AI Technology Stream, translating complex technical milestones into executive-ready insights and driving regional change management strategies.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience: 8+ years of progressive IT Project/Portfolio Management experience, with a track record of operating at a Senior Manager/Associate Director level in Data, AI, or Digital domains.
- Domain Authority: Deep expertise within Financial Services, Insurance, or Banking is mandatory due to the highly regulated nature of the environment.
- Technical & Commercial Toolkit: Mastery of modern portfolio management (Jira, Azure DevOps) combined with strong budget forecasting, vendor negotiation, and compliance management skills.
- Methodology: Expert-level grasp of Agile delivery frameworks paired with traditional enterprise governance (PMP, Prince2, or Agile certifications strongly preferred).
- Executive Presence: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders, drive consensus across siloed teams, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
