Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $17 - $17 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Sorter:
Clean and maintain recycling yard and collection equipment
Safely remove chemicals from discarded appliances
Deposit recoverable materials into chutes or place them on conveyor belts
Operate balers to compress recyclable materials into bundles or bales
Use machines to load items onto trucks for shipment to other recycling facilities
Available shifts:
Shift Timings:1st Shift (Day),2nd Shift (Evening)
Job requirements:
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
Prior experience in recycling yard preferred
Able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, and reach, bend, push, pull, and climb
Flexibility to work in all weather conditions
Able to remain in a stationary position for up to 10 hours
Background check and drug screening required
