Our client, a leading global consultancy, is seeking an experienced, strategic Quality Assurance Manager to lead its quality governance and testing frameworks. In this pivotal role, you will define the QA strategy across the entire software development life cycle (SDLC), with a special focus on enterprise-level cloud migration projects. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with deep technical expertise in web, mobile, and Azure cloud environments, capable of bridging the gap between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to deliver flawless solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- QA Governance & Strategy: Define, establish, and implement comprehensive Quality Assurance Frameworks and Governance Models to assess project health from initiation to closure.
- Cloud Migration Quality: Oversee the end-to-end testing process for large-scale cloud migrations, establishing quality standards and mitigating risks to ensure seamless deployments.
- Agile Delivery & Leadership: Partner with Product Owners and IT stakeholders to prioritize backlogs, formalize release plans, and ensure accountable, high-quality delivery for every sprint.
- Compliance & Auditing: Ensure all deliverables comply with internal security standards and government regulations, conducting regular audits to enforce the established QA strategy.
- Team Mentorship & Vendor Management: Coach, mentor, and support QA team members on best practices while also managing external consultants, contracts, and suppliers.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor project quality metrics, evaluate program effectiveness, and conduct research into emerging technologies to continuously innovate the deployment processes.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 8+ years of progressive QA experience, with a strong foundation in complex mobile and web application testing.
- Cloud Expertise: Proven experience with Cloud technologies, highly preferring hands-on exposure to Azure Services (e.g., Logic App, ADF, Databricks).
- Methodology: Deep understanding of the IT SDLC and extensive experience driving results within Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong ability to design complex testing procedures, compile data into executive test reports, and navigate popular operating systems (Windows, Linux).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. You must be self-motivated, highly organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with challenging deadlines.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Language: Fluency in both spoken and written English and Cantonese is a must.
