Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $16 - $16 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Lumber:
Load and unload lumber, building materials, and other supplies safely and efficiently
Organize and stack materials in the yard according to size, type, and order requirements
Assist customers with locating, measuring, and transporting materials
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other yard equipment safely (training may be provided)
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the yard, including sweeping, clearing debris, and disposing of waste materials
Inspect materials for damage or defects and report issues to supervisors
Support shipping and receiving operations as needed
Available shifts:
Shift timings -1st Shift (Day)
Job requirements:
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior experience in a lumber yard, warehouse, or construction environment is a plus
Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50-75 lbs) repeatedly throughout the day
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Strong attention to safety and ability to follow established procedures
Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Background check and Drug screening required
