We are seeking a Transformation Expert for a top-tier bank to lead the modernization of their fund and portfolio management platforms. This role acts as a strategic "architect," aligning complex risk strategies with technical solutions to optimize balance sheet and credit risk systems.
- Collaborate with Product, Risk, and Tech leads to translate business goals into tactical system solutions.
- Lead the full project lifecycle—from the initial feasibility study and user story creation to UAT management and post-go-live optimization.
- Identify bottlenecks in current workflows and implement Python/SQL-driven automations or vendor-supported upgrades.
- Chair working groups and steering committees, aligning diverse interests from Legal to Finance to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Define the roadmap for upgrading deposit, loan, and credit risk management platforms.
- Evaluate post-implementation performance and resolve production issues to ensure seamless system stability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8–10 years of proven experience in business transformation within the Banking sector, with a focus on Balance Sheet or Credit Risk Management.
- Fluency in English is required; Cantonese/Mandarin is a strong advantage for stakeholder engagement.
- Banking Experience is a Must
- A "status quo challenger" who is detail-oriented and thrives under pressure.
- Strong analytical skills with a knack for influencing senior stakeholders across multi-functional groups.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work effectively across functions and with different seniority levels.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Design Thinking, or user‑centred design practices is a plus.
Proficiency in Chinese, including Putonghua, is desirable.
