JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Open to Filipino who speak Japanese
Can speak, read and write Japanese Language fluently
Open to N1, N2, and N3 Passers or Level
Ability to use English at work and translation
At least 3 years experience working as an IT Project Manager
Fluent in soft skills like communicating with Japanese and Filipino (can speak Cebuano is an advantage)
Open to degree holders and undergraduate
Has experience using JIRA and CONFLUENCE
Must have experience working with Japanese clients
Can work onsite in Cebu
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the end-to-end delivery of IT projects in Japanese and English, from initial planning and scoping to final closing, ensuring all deliverables meet predefined quality standards and are released on schedule.
Act as the primary point of contact for both internal departments and external Japanese clients to gather requirements, manage expectations, and align on project timelines using professional Japanese business etiquette
Monitor project progress and team performance using tools like JIRA, ensuring strict adherence to defined project plans while maintaining high standards of quality control and technical documentation in Japanese.
Implement robust risk management strategies to identify potential bottlenecks early, performing regular audits and escalating critical issues to Japanese management to minimize impact on project success.
Recruit, train, and coach project members to build a high-performing team; this includes resolving internal conflicts and providing the motivation necessary to ensure cohesive teamwork and productivity within a Japanese-speaking environment.
Collaborate with various departments to secure necessary technical tools and resources, ensuring the team has everything required to translate complex Japanese client requirements into functional application specifications.
