The Role & Landscape: Stepping into the role of Senior Business Analyst, you will be the driving force behind a high-profile Non-Financial Risk (NFR) management initiative. You will sit at the intersection of business, data analytics, and technology, translating complex risk management requirements into robust data and machine learning solutions.
- Lead the end-to-end requirements gathering lifecycle, translating business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Architect the data landscape by defining data requirements and ensuring the seamless, secure ingestion of complex data from multiple sources into a centralized repository.
- Partner directly with elite Data Scientists and Analytics teams to define the scope for NFR Machine Learning requirements, guiding the development of predictive models and algorithms.
- Analyze existing NFR controls, identifying vulnerabilities and working closely with engineering teams to implement automated, tech-driven improvements.
- Act as the authoritative Subject Matter Expert on NFR management, presenting actionable insights, project progress, and data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders.
What We Are Looking For: * Experience: Proven track record as a Business Analyst within the Financial Services industry (Tier-1 Banking or Big 4 Risk Consulting background is highly advantageous).
- Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of Non-Financial Risk (NFR) or Operational Risk management, specifically within a Wholesale Banking context. Knowledge of regulatory requirements is a major plus.
- Technical Pedigree: Proficiency in data analysis tools and advanced analytics. Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau) is mandatory. Familiarity with data ingestion processes and ML concepts.
- Execution & Delivery: Strong capability in writing functional specifications and user stories within an Agile framework.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the unique ability to articulate complex technical and analytical concepts to non-technical business leaders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. An advanced degree is preferred.
