Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $18- $18/ hour*
What you'll be doing as an Upholstery Associate:
Cut foam, vinyl, and upholstery materials according to specifications and production schedules
Sew and assemble upholstery components for dental chairs and medical seating products
Install foam, padding, and upholstery coverings on chair cushions, backs, armrests, and related components
Inspect materials and finished products for quality, consistency, and workmanship
Operate sewing machines, cutting equipment, and other upholstery tools safely and efficiently
Follow production drawings, templates, and work instructions
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards
Assist with packaging and preparing completed components for assembly or shipment
Available shifts:
Shift timings -1st Shift (Day)
Job requirements:
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
Previous upholstery, sewing, manufacturing, furniture production, automotive upholstery, marine upholstery, or related experience preferred
Ability to use industrial sewing machines and upholstery tools
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Ability to read measurements and follow production specifications
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must pass a background check and drug screen
Must have reliable transportation
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to perform repetitive motions including cutting, sewing, bending, and reaching
