REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:
Korean National proficient in English and based in Korea
Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Political Science, or any related discipline.
With experience as a Legal translator in the Supreme Court, law firms, or government institutions is required.
Detail-oriented, with the ability to quickly and accurately analyze information, make sound decisions, and resolve issues effectively.
Proficient in using computers and various software applications, including CLM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB:
Translate or interpret Mandarin and English legal content accurately.
Korean Legal Translator is responsible for reviewing, abstracting, and analyzing commercial contracts and legal documents (e.g., NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, license agreements).
Review and draft documents based on the research while ensuring compliance with client’s preferences and applicable rules of the country.
Review confidential documents and non disclosure agreements
Answer inquiries about drafted contract
Interpret and ensure compliance with laws, rulings, regulations, and applicable risk management policies.
Coordinate with onshore and offshore legal teams to ensure timely delivery of outputs.
