Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $26- $30/ hour*
What you'll be doing as a Maintenance Mechanic:
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical components of production equipment
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mixers, ovens, conveyors, packaging machines, and refrigeration systems
Diagnose and repair motors, drives, sensors, relays, contactors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, bearings, chains, and gearboxes
Troubleshoot electrical circuits, control panels, and PLC-controlled equipment
Install, test, and replace electrical components, wiring, and mechanical parts as needed
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
Perform equipment inspections to identify potential failures and minimize downtime
Support equipment installations, upgrades, and production line improvements
Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
Follow all safety, food safety, and GMP requirements

Job requirements:
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
Minimum 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment; bakery or food manufacturing experience preferred
Strong hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Experience with motors, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, conveyors, pumps, hydraulics, and pneumatics
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices
Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
Ability to work independently and respond effectively to equipment breakdowns
