Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $16- $20/ hour*
What you'll be doing as an Aquatic Weed Control Technician:
Remove and cut vegetation using hand tools and other tools of the trade.
Work outdoors in extreme heat and humid conditions.
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. PPE, including marsh boots, will be provided
Available shifts:
Shift Timings:1st Shift (Day)
Job requirements:
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
Must be physically capable of performing strenuous outdoor work
Must be able to work safely in extreme heat and humidity
Must be acclimated to working in hot weather
Ability to work 4 consecutive 10-hour shifts each week
Must be comfortable working in an environment where reptiles and other native wildlife may be present ("reptile friendly")
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance are required
