Affordable Housing Leasing Consultant

This position is responsible for leasing apartments, providing outstanding customer service, and ensuring compliance with affordable housing regulations.

Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $15- $18/ hour*
What you'll be doing as an Affordable Housing Leasing Consultant:
Welcome prospective residents and conduct property tours
Respond to leasing inquiries by phone, email, and in person
Process rental applications and prepare lease agreements
Verify applicant eligibility and collect required income and asset documentation
Assist with move-ins, move-outs, lease renewals, and resident communications
Maintain accurate resident files and ensure compliance with LIHTC/Section 42 and company policies
Coordinate with the property management team to maintain occupancy goals
Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional leasing office

Job requirements:
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
Minimum of 1 year of apartment leasing experience preferred
Affordable Housing or LIHTC certification is required
Experience with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Section 42, HUD, or affordable housing compliance required
Knowledge of income certifications and resident file documentation
Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Yardi, OneSite, RealPage, Entrata, or similar property management software is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent required
