This position reports to the Operations department.
Duties and Responsibilities
Operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently.
Transport goods to customers, warehouses, distribution centres, or cross-border destinations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Report mechanical defects, accidents, and road incidents.
Ensure cargo is loaded, secured, and offloaded correctly.
Maintain delivery notes, trip sheets, logbooks, and proof-of-delivery documents.
Adhere to road traffic regulations and company policies.
Monitor fuel usage, mileage, and vehicle condition.
Plan routes and meet delivery deadlines.
Maintain professional communication with clients and dispatch personnel.
Requirements
5 years experience in driving and deliveries
Clean criminal record
Valid PDP
Good communication skills
Must have Matric
Available immediately
