The General Manager's responsibilities include maintaining the restaurant's revenue, continued profitability and quality goals. Ability to create and maintain financial budgets. You will ensure an efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, cost controls, quality, cleanliness and customer-service standards. Ability to schedule and maintain a well-trained management staff and labor force, while controlling labor costs. Oversee kitchen operations while working in a team environment with the Executive Chef

What you'll be doing as a Restaurant General Manager:
Administrative
Purchasing/ordering of inventory and supplies needed for the restaurant
Inventory control
Payroll and tip allocation if applicable
Coordinate all front-of-house and back-of-house operations
Deliver superior guest service and ensure absolute customer satisfaction
Financial
Create and maintain financial budget
Control labor costs and cut food waste
Maintain inventory controls, pars, and ordering within the budget established
Track operations and make corrective actions
Knowledge of accounting practices, costing, and procedures
Floor Operation
Ability to create and maintain all management
Staff, train, and continually coach staff in a fair and positive manner
Anticipate, forecast, maintain business levels and staff accordingly
Respond efficiently and promptly to customer complaints and management/staff issues
Nurture a positive work environment
Successfully represent the brand
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected in all situations and events

Job requirements:
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
Attendance/Punctuality
Consistently reports to work on time and as scheduled
Communication
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Regularly stand and walk
Frequently lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds
Occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 100 pounds
Lift and move at least 30 pounds off the floor
Use hands and arms to reach, handle, and feel
Occasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch
Specific vision abilities required for this role includeClose, Distance, Peripheral vision,Depth perception
Ability to adjust focus
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Extensive food, liquor, wine, beer, and beverage knowledge
Strong yet fair leadership with both motivational and creative people skills
Acute budget and financial skills.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years management experience in fine dining and high-volume establishments
Food Handler Certification (ServSafe)
Alcohol Service Certification (TIPS)
Background check and Drug test required
