JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Open to someone who can speak Japanese
Open to JLPT N3 Passers or Non Passer; no JLPT required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
Supervisory or managerial experience in technical or engineering roles.
Open to both college graduates and undergraduates.
Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring skills.
Ability to communicate effectively across different teams.
Strategic mindset focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
Practical knowledge in optical lens production, including molding, polishing, hard coating, AR coating, and surfacing.
Familiar with production planning, process control, and ISO quality management systems.
Must be willing to work in Cebu City.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor every step of the lens manufacturing process from the initial molding phase to the final quality inspection
Help the technical manager achieve daily output goals, maintain high-quality standards, and meet delivery deadlines
Identify and fix machine breakdowns quickly to minimize factory downtime and reduce lens defects
Work with engineering and maintenance teams on machine troubleshooting, calibration, and routine upkeep.
Support new projects and find ways to improve quality and lower costs.
Maintain production processes and machinery in strict accordance with optical quality standards and safety rules.
Assist in teaching operators how to use new machines and tools
Collaborate with the R&D team to evaluate and introduce advanced lens materials, special coatings, and new machinery.
Monitor daily material usage and analyze overall factory efficiency data
Draft technical reports, production summaries, and data-driven improvement ideas for management.
