Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $22- $23/ hour*
What you'll be doing as a Purchasing Agent:
Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials as needed.
Track orders to ensure on-time delivery and resolve shipping or supply issues.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Maintain accurate purchasing records, invoices, and supplier documentation.
Coordinate with internal departments to determine purchasing needs and priorities

Job requirements:
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
High school diploma or equivalent required
Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience with purchasing or ERP software is a plus.
2+ years of purchasing, procurement, or inventory management experience preferred.
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Background check and Drug test required
