Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $22- $22/ hour*
What you'll be doing as a Laser Operator:
Set up and operate CNC laser machines to cut, etch, or pierce metals
Interpret blueprints, production orders, and specifications to ensure parts meet required dimensions and tolerances
Must be able to plan and layout cutting sequence, referring to drawings and blueprints
Request assistance on large or heavy sheet metal blanks
Setup up materials in performing cutting operations
Requires aligning, fitting and/or rework pieces that fail inspection
Performs other duties as assigned by manager
Select and install correct lenses, make machine adjustments to accommodate different materials and thicknesses
Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, or other tools to ensure accuracy
Perform routine maintenance on the laser and report any issues or malfunctions
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Available shifts:
Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day) &2nd Shift (Evening)
Job requirements:
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
Manufacturing production machinery experience preferred, but not required
Quality conscious and possess ability to meet production and quality standards
Ability to multitask, show flexibility, and have great attention to detail
Preferably bilingual
Experience using a Bystronics laser
Background Check And Drug Test Required
