JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :-
Engage customer for technical requirement and scope of works. Prepare functional specification, high level conceptual design and timeline prior development work.
Participate in design review, test plan review and alpha test result review.
Identify technical / schedule risk and prepare mitigation plan. Plan for new product / feature demonstration to customer. Ensure successful demonstration and specification fulfillment.
Collect and analyze product related data (performance, failure report and cost). Use statistical analysis method to identify key (manufacturability, reliability, performance and profit marg inim). p rovement area
Engage with development group to drive improvement effort. Justify development effort with adequate ROI analysis.
Serve as escalation path for development group for technical issue from manufacturing and contractor.:
Manage technical escalation thru initial technical analysis, site containment plan, cost impact analysis, internal and external updates until formal closure.
Identify additional support needed and drive resources to quickly and efficiently resolve technical escalations.
Engage escalated customers and site support team during the escalation.
Develop and drive the communication plan with the escalated customer and the internal team. Identify and mitigate risk from product point of view.
Actively involve in technical training during early phase of transfer with development group. Coordinate with AME group to ensure smooth transition of new product into manufacturing.
Participate in customer demonstration with sales and support group.
Identify existing technical risk, prepare mitigation plan and drive development group to address the risk until closure.
Identify manufacturing quality and technical support risk, prepare mitigation plan and drive AME and technical support group to address the risk.
Bachelor of Science / Engineering from an accredited college or university.Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience with a Bachelorís degree, or five years with a Masterís degree in automated machine design.
Experience working in automation design with motorized system and mechanism design with automation / pneumatics parts are strongly preferred.
Candidate with experience handling automated IC test handling equipment can be considered.
Experience managing cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of good engineering practices and the ability to follow existing guidelines and processes. Knowledge of complex equipment functionality and semiconductor test process.
Knowledge of mean time between failure (MTBF), mean cycle before failure (MCBJ) failure modes and effect analysis (FMEA), overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), GPIB, SEC/GEM, cost of ownership (COO) and cost of test (COT) a plus but not required.
Solid data analysis and problem solving skills. Must have the ability to effectively present findings and recommendations.
