Experienced Maintenance Millwright
Location: Toronto, ON
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 6:30 am – 3:00 pm
STARTING RATE: $30.00/hr

The Maintenance Millwright will be responsible for supporting production by troubleshooting problems, making repairs and system improvements (optimization) while following safety rules and regulations.
What You Will Do
Perform ongoing preventive and predictive maintenance on all equipment for continuous improvement of all machines
Assist in determining and maintaining spare parts inventory
Keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation using a CMMS system
Perform work in areas such as fabrication, welding, assembly, cutting, burning and pipefitting using proper techniques and applicable tools
Diagnose complex equipment failures and provide solutions such as dismantle, repair and reassemble etc. in a timely manner to ensure minimal interruption to production
Work from drawings, verbal instructions, or sketches to meet goals
Maintain good housekeeping
Monitor the compressors system and perform scheduled maintenance and spot repairs as needed
Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards and legislation including Environmental Legislation, O. Reg 851 for Industrial Establishments, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act (with emphasis on Section 28, (1) (a)-(d), (2) (a)-(c)).
Who We Are Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
Millwright Certification of Qualification (C of Q)
3-5 years of experience in a similar role
Ability to work independently and draw from experience with minimal supervision
Ability to problem solve and follow standardized practices and procedures
Mechanical aptitude; thorough knowledge of machine print reading and interpretation
