Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $18 - $18 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Prep Cook:
Prepare and cook food according to recipes
Test foods to determine if they are prepared and cooked correctly
Store food at correct temperatures to ensure freshness
Utilize blenders, cutlery, and ovens to prepare food
Make sure area is clean and all quality and sanitation standards are met, including cold and hot storage
Help create and plan food and drink menus
Prepare high-quality dishes in both taste and presentation
Ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and meets quality standards
Step in for the Executive Chef when needed
Quickly solve any kitchen issues that arise
Follow and enforce food safety and cleanliness rules
Maintain a positive and professional attitude with the team and customers

Job requirements:
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
Prep cooking experience preferred
Good knife skills and knowledge of food preparation
Possess a valid food handler's card or ServSafe certification - our branch will help provide this training
Able to work all areas of the kitchen
Must be clean
Must be on time
Must listen to all instruction given
Must Work the full shift
Shift can run from 10-12 hrs
