REQUIREMENTS:
Matric + Well spoken
Preferably 2 Official Languages
License 2 years and older
5 Years Driving Experience
Volvo and Scania is Advantageous
No Criminal Record
Neat and well groomed (PPE must be clean and worn at all times)
Valid driver’s license
AdhocFunctions
Directing drivers while reversing ensuring it is safe to do so
Communicating with zone controllers via cell phone
Ensuring cleanliness of vehicle both internally and externally
Ensuring all tools and equipment used are kept clean and stored as required.
Reporting any losses, damages and discrepancies’ with regard to cargo, equipment and paperwork
Greeting and interacting with clients in a polite and pleasant manner
Additional Requirements
Willingness to work overtime
Own transport advantageous as transport will only be provided when legislatively
required and in some instances be charged to employee
Computer skill advantageous
Own cell phone in working condition
Approx. 5 years previous freight experience advantageous
Willingness to take a pre-employment polygraph test
Must have at least 2 contactable references
